Select Hydrofoils

This fin selector has been developed by Fanatic in cooperation with Select Hydrofoils to choose exactly the type of fin you need in order to benefit the maximum performance out of your board.
During the Fanatic development process, Select fins have shown to be of top performance and therefore can be highly recommended for use in the Falcon range. In order to choose exactly the right fin for your personal setup, we recommend you to read the following information carefully.
How does it work:

1. What is your type of sailing?

• Slalom: for sailors who are attending slalom competitions and requiring maximum amount off grip, control and acceleration ;
• Speed : sailors who are looking for maximum speed and therefore sailing very deep down wind angles ;

2. If there is a range of fins you can choose from you can consider the following argument(s) to choose a slightly smaller or bigger fin within the given range:

For 2012 the very good S10/11 range has been replaced by the S12 line (31 to 61 cm).
This to enable an easier choice for the rider. See below how the S12 range is build up.

• S12 SLAM length from 31 - 41 (improved version of the 2011 S11 and earlier the SO7) ;
• S12 SLAM XL length from 41 - 49 (improved version of the 2011 S10) ;
• S12 RACE length from 49 - 61 (improved version of the 2011 S11)

For fins shorter than 31 cm and for speed, we advise to use the new Caspar Crossfire’s . The Crossfire Wide type can be sailed 3 to 4 cm shorter to allow for the same amount of power. The CROSSFIRE fin replaces the successful Caspar Speed fin
